Nick Saban (HC)

Nick Saban, head coach of the University of Alabama football team, recently had hip surgery. Within 48 hours post-operation, Saban returned to work, which not many people would do, even with a few restrictions as he began rehab. Eager to get back to himself, Saban is pushing himself much harder than most people would. He had a walker for only one day and is currently using a cane. He explains that he “will probably throw that away tomorrow.” Saban is also doing ten isometric exercises up to four times a day! Absolutely incredible. The University of Alabama has an outstanding facility, training staff and weight room, assuring for a quick and speedy recovery. Though with most patients it takes anywhere from six weeks to six months to recover, Saban feels that he will be 100% within the next two weeks. Though Saban hopes to get back on feet sooner rather than later, he is unable to attend the 2019 NFL draft in Nashville. According to Saban, “the next three or four days are important, so I don’t have a setback.” However, I do not think anything will get in his way of a safe and speedy recovery.

This is quite incredible for any human being to do which is return to work within 48 hours. A 67 year old man getting back to a job that requires an extremely large amount of work. I think him having basically any resource right there in his office for him to use. By the way he has the best trainer and strength coach anyone could have for rehab and rebuilding strength,
