Podcast:

In this podcast, I mention a few athletes from the SEC playing across seas during their time with USA teams, but I also talk more about Alabama hiring a new head coach for their women's volleyball team.

The four players selected to play across seas were Kylie DeBerg from Missouri, Taylor Bannister from LSU, Meghan Donovan from Georgia and Tyanna Omazic from Missouri. These four athletes completed on different USA teams and in different places across seas. Kylie will be going to Italy to compete in the World University Games.

Taylor will be traveling to be traveling to Japan and will compete against Nippon Sport Science University (which has one of the best college volleyball teams in Japan).

Meghan and Tyanna will be competing on the same team and will be traveling to Brazil for the red vs. blue scrimmage.

Alabama hired Lindsay Devine their new head coach. Devine is a very known coach and has lots of experience under her belt.

Before being named the head coach at Alabama, she was at Eastern Tennessee State

University for 16 years and was the universites all-time winningest coach. I believe this is a great addition to Alabama’s coaching staff not only because of her passion for the sport, but her experience at a national and college level. When she was at ETSU, she spent 16 years focusing on reaching goals that no other SoCon team has ever did. She left a legacy there and she hopes to leave another legacy at Alabama.
